Citrine

Citrine is a natural variety of quartz that got its yellow and olive-gold colors from aluminum and lithium inside the crystal structure that have been exposed to the high temperatures of volcanic and naturally occurring radiation.  (Yet you will often encounter Citrine that was once Amethyst that changed color during manmade high-temp heat processing. Many people don't know this is what most "Citrine" on the market today actually is).

Known as the "merchant's stone" or "money stone", citrine is generally a "feel better" stone; a crystal bringing abundance and wealth on all levels.  Citrine helps the wearer or carrier make the right choices and solve problems.  It increases self esteem and self-awareness, while boosting physical energy and creativity.  While a crystal that heals the solar plexus chakra, Citrine eases digestion disorders, calms nausea, and eliminates toxins.   Citrine is also a self-cleansing stone, keeping itself and nearby crystals free from energetic impurities.
